General Information
Our doctors

  • In our unit, both acute and chronic sinusitis is managed with both medical (medication) and surgical (operation) treatments.
  • Allergic Diseases Outpatient clinic is available in our unit. Both diagnostic tests are performed and the patients with documented allergic disease are followed up in the unit.
  • Anatomic problems that impair the intranasal air flow, such as deviations and hypertrophic nasal turbinate and adenoid tissues, are managed with surgical treatments using high-end equipment and ENDOSCOPIC TECHNIQUES (closed technique); in this regard, our unit is among limited number of nose surgery clinics in our country.
  • Advanced photography techniques are used before and after cosmetic nose surgery (rhinoplasty) in order to plan and support the operation. For severe cosmetic problems that are associated with severe deformities or require augmentation, surgical treatments are supplemented by autograft (body tissues obtained from other parts of the patient’s body).
  • Our outpatient clinic cooperates with Neurology and Ophthalmology clinics to treat patients with headache and migraine.
  • Surgical treatment of malignant and benign tumors located in the nasal cavity and sinus cavities is performed and the diagnosis of such diseases is supported by advanced medical imaging devices in our hospital.

  • Surgical treatment of tonsillitis and adenoid vegetations in children and adolescents is carried out with the most advanced techniques and treatment tools in our unit.
  • Various diagnosis and treatment techniques and approaches are instituted for CHRONIC PHARYNGITIS that is associated with dry throat and irritation.
  • Our voice therapist cooperates with psychologists for the medical treatment of voice disorders in our unit. The same team performs microscopic surgery for the patient who does not benefit from medical treatment, if deemed necessary.
  • Voice conservation surgery is preferred for the treatment of vocal cord tumors, and postoperative speech and swallowing are supported by voice therapist.
  • Diagnosis and treatment of intraoral aphthae (chronic wounds) are carried out in cooperation with internal medicine and dentistry departments.

  • The treatment targets the causative factor in acute and chronic ear diseases.
  • The audiology unit with fully silent room (0 decibel) in our unit is operated by experienced audiologists.
  • The diagnosis of vertigo is supported by our fully equipped Audiology Unit.
  • The presence of the Audiology Unit in Otorhinolaryngology Clinic enables quick diagnosis and treatment of Ear Diseases under one roof.
  • The state-of-the-art microscope and equipment are used in operations carried out for ear diseases.

  • A wide spectrum of skin tests is supplemented by analysis of specific allergy antibodies in serum by measuring specific IgE in order to diagnose allergic diseases, and thus, both the allergen is definitively identified and the severity of allergy is determined.
  • Follow-up is as important as diagnosis in allergic diseases. Allergy Outpatient clinic offers a comfortable and quality environment for patients with allergic diseases in the Otorhinolarynology department.
  • Patients with allergies who have not had treated for a long time develop obstruction of intranasal passage – an irritating problem that impairs the quality of life – secondary to chronic sinusitis and hypertrophic nasal turbinate. In our unit, endoscopic surgeries are carried out for nasal obstructions.

  • Snoring and sleep apnea reduces the quality of sleep, resulting in daytime sleepiness and disruption of the activities of daily life; they also cause uneasiness between family members in the evening. The Sleep Laboratory of our hospital cooperates with neurology and Otorhinolaryngology clinics and thus, guidance is provided to the diagnosis and the treatment of sleep disorders.
  • If sleep disorders are caused by structural problems of throat, neck and nose, there are two options of treatment. In our hospital, CPAP therapy is prioritized. If CPAP therapy is not possible, surgical treatments are supplemented by advanced technology equipment.
